We finally have an apartment! :)  I will be going by shortly to put the deposit down and we will move in on the 15th.  I can't wait! :D  We'll have all our stuff again.  I miss my books :(  And Caitlyn will have her own room and bathroom.  Let me know if you want our updated info and as soon as I confirm the address I will let you know :)  We decided not to get a landline so if you have our cell numbers, you'll still have our number.

Last night was Caitlyn's (and my) first trip ever to the emergency room.  I had let her stay up later than usual because Bert worked late and she didn't have to get up this morning.  After Bert got home he was on our bed and Caitlyn started to climb on him and he moved and she fell off of the bed, hitting her ear on the corner of the desk.   The back of her ear looked like it was split and there was blood on the inside of her ear as well.  So concerned that she may have damaged her inner ear we took her to the emergency room.  I was mentally prepared to be there all night based on other people's stories.   We waited about half an hour in the waiting room with Caitlyn curled up in Bert's lap.  She fell asleep not long after we got there.  Once we got to the examination room she woke up a bit and was her talkative self.  We waited probably 10-15 minutes for the doctor.  He cleaned the blood off her ear and looked at the cuts.  He found a tiny little cut that had caused the blood in her ear and said that her inner ear was fine and she didn't need stitches for the back.  (I learned something new about Bert through this.  He had been sitting on the bed with Caitlyn when the doctor came in and when he folded her ear over to get a better look at the back Bert jerked his head around to look at me.  And said he was squeamish.  I never knew.)  The doctor put antibiotic cream on her ear and checked the rest of her to make sure she hadn't hurt anything else when she fell.   After that they had us sign the discharge paper and we were done.  Home by 12:30.  She's doing just fine today.  Behind her ear is still a little swollen but it doesn't seem to be bothering her too much.

A couple of months ago we started doing a behavior modification chart with Caitlyn (she gets stickers for doing the things she's supposed to and if she gets all her stickers at the end of the week she gets a special treat).  It has worked great for the most part.  We noticed not long after we started it that she is outgrowing her tricycle and decided to have her work towards earning a new bike.  I made a chart of four weeks and she got a small treat at the end of each week to keep her focused but at the end of the four weeks if she got all her stickers, she got the new bike.  And after four weeks of build up, today we went and bought her bike.  Bright red Dora the Explorer complete with Backpack and Map and we got her a matching helmet.  Unfortunately, the weather chose this weekend to change and it has been raining all day.  So her shiny new bike has spent the day in the living room and she's so excited she keeps putting her helmet on and just sitting on her bike :)


So since we didn't spend the day outside as I would have liked I did stuff around the house.  Bert and I did our laundry, I still need to fold mine and put it away, I cleaned out the refrigerator and scrubbed down all the shelves, and I helped my mom clean up and organize the storage room.  I also picked up all our stuff that was just laying around the house, still need to finish putting it all away though.

I can't wait for the next Harry Potter movie! The new trailer was released today :)  It isn't high definition yet but it still looks sweet :)  Ahh to finally see the Weasley twins leaving :D

Caitlyn enjoyed her birthday very much. Brandon came up to see her this afternoon while my parents were visiting Jon. He brought her a Disney princess poster (he bought her a leap pad and a Dora doll last month because he wasn't sure if he would be up again before her birthday). Once he left and my parents got home, Bert took Caitlyn out so I could put up the decorations to surprise her. When they got home we were going to yell surprise (per Caitlyn's request last week) but she had fallen asleep in the car. She opened her eyes enough to see the Dora decorations and was immediately completely awake. We opened presents (Dora DVD she has been asking for for months that we picked out for her with money from Brandon's parents, a Strawberry Shortcake CD player from me and Bert and a very cute butterfly bed spread and organza canopy from my parents). Then she and Bert played at the table while I finished making her birthday dinner (chicken and rice). After dinner she blew out her candles and we had cake and ice cream. The cake my mom decorated to look like Strawberry Shortcake.

Bert and I were watching Empire Strikes Back and during the fight between Luke and Vader, Caitlyn looks over and says "What's the black one's name?" I responded "Darth Vader" She then said "Oh, I like to hear him snore"
